Brandi Glanville, 52, revealed facial burns after applying Nair hair removal cream to her face in an attempt to combat what she believes is a facial parasite.

In a TikTok video posted on August 3, 2025, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said, “Good news, you guys don’t have to spend a lot of money on pills and lasers anymore, because I decided to put Nair on my face.”

Glanville referred to the suspected parasite as “Caroline,” a possible reference to RHOBH castmate Caroline Manzo. In the TikTok clip, Glanville claimed that “when I have an exfoliated face, it pisses the parasite off.” She said that after using Nair on her lower face, the parasite moved to another location, stating, “Nair is the fountain of youth. I figured it out.”

In the caption, she wrote, “I did 7 minutes and I’m on fire,” and added that the product also “burned the loose skin off my arms.” TikTok users expressed concern, with one warning, “Chemical burn? I would go to ER,” and another saying, “Please do NOT put Nair in your face!!”

Glanville first mentioned the parasite in late 2023 after returning from filming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco. She claimed, “We had food sitting out for hours on end, and some of it was meat.” Glanville told Entertainment Tonight in December 2024 that symptoms started six months later and included facial swelling and tooth loss.

She said, “I’ve been on meds this whole year. I don’t socialize. I don’t go out.” She estimated spending over $70,000 on noninvasive treatments and used IV antibiotics to manage swelling.

According to Healthline, Nair contains calcium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide, which can irritate or burn skin. The Nair website advises a patch test before use and warns that body chemistry changes over time.
