The Illuminate hitmaker recently shared on Instagram a series of snaps from his attendance at Dua Lipa‘s concert at the Sunny Hill Festival. In two black-and-white snaps, Mendes passionately looked at and hugged a woman. Moreover, in another photo, he and Dua Lipa kissed the said woman’s cheeks.
Mendes captioned the post, “all we got is love !!”
Fans of the singer jumped into the comments and speculated about whether Mendes had launched a new relationship, while also wondering who the mystery woman was.
A fan wrote, “Who’s this shawn huh??” Meanwhile, another commented, “First picture breaking my heart HAHAHAHAH.”
Yet another asked, “Are you dating Mr. Shawn Mendes??”
However, other fans identified the woman as Luana Quaglia. She is an international artist supervisor responsible for the creative and logistics areas of a celebrity’s touring and performances. Quaglia and Mendes have been working together since 2019, when the latter embarked on his fourth concert tour, supporting his third studio album.
Previously, in early 2023, the “Youth” singer sparked dating rumors with Sabrina Carpenter after being seen on several outings with her. Speculation about their relationship grew after Entertainment Weekly alleged, via an insider, that they were dating. However, Mendes shot down the speculation and denied being romantically involved with the “Espresso” singer in an RTL Boulevard interview.
