The comments section had a myriad of responses from fans.

“He’s so girl dad coded,” a user wrote.

Another noted, “I’m something of a diva myself.” This is a reference to one of Dafoe’s Norman Osborn’s iconic lines in 2002’s Spider-Man, where he says, “You know I’m something of a scientist myself.”

Meanwhile, on Reddit, a fan exclaimed, “I love him so much!!”

A netizen also added, “Such a wholesome guy.”

Previously, in a WIRED autocomplete interview from 2023 — where celebrities answer widely Googled questions — Dafoe revealed that he could dance. The Lighthouse actor stated, “Absolutely. That’s my favorite thing to do.” However, he clarified that it was “only in certain circumstances.”

Notably, the Platoon actor recently starred in a music video, “Avrio Vrady,” for the Greek musical duo Gamma Gamma, where he could be seen dancing. Before this, he participated in New York City’s The Wooster Group troupe’s experimental theater piece “Hula” in 1982. The piece involved considerable dancing.

Dafoe explained Hula’s origins in an appearance on the SmartLess podcast in 2023. He shared that the project was born out of the group’s need “to do something light and easy” following director Elizabeth LeCompte’s father’s demise.
