Anthony Hopkins mocks Kim Kardashian’s face mask
Legendary actor Anthony Hopkins recently posted a clip on Instagram wearing the face mask launched by Kim Kardashian’s brand SKIMS and brought out his character Hannibal Lecter.
In the clip, Hopkins can be seen wearing the face mask, which slightly mirrors a famous scene from his movie Silence of the Lambs. In that scene, his character is made to wear a mask to prevent him from biting others in prison.
Hopkins brought out the mannerisms and tone of his iconic cannibalistic character, Hannibal, and said, “Hello, Kim. I’m already feeling ten years younger.” In the caption of the clip, he wrote, “Thank you, Kim. Don’t be afraid to come over for dinner.” The video earned a reaction from none other than the SKIMS founder, who shared it on her Instagram story and wrote, “I’M SCREAMING!!!!!”
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow also reacted to Hopkins’ video and labeled him a “genius” in the comment section. Another user wrote, “This is the best publicity you could get @kimkardashian ! lol. You have to reply. This is so epic!”
SKIMS released the face mask, also known as the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap, on July 29, 2025, for $48. Announcing the launch on Instagram, the account of the popular shapewear and clothing brand made a post and stated, “Just Dropped: The Ultimate Face—our first-ever face innovation, made with signature sculpting fabric and infused with collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support.”
