Sharon Osbourne recounted the incident in a 2014 episode of The Talk, where Swift came as a guest. “Remember the time that we were all out shopping separately and we bumped into you, and I had Ozzy with me, and Kelly was there, and we all had chats in the store?” she asked the pop icon.
“Ozzy came away and he said, ‘Finally, out of all these young, new artists, I finally found one that is a true superstar,'” Sharon recalled her husband’s reaction. Adding to this, Ozzy compared Swift to some of history’s most prominent women. “She’s like Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, all rolled into one,” he reportedly said to Sharon. Yet, this was a heartfelt moment that has had a resurgence after Ozzy Osbourne’s recent demise at the age of 76. He had his farewell concert on 5 July 2025. Following this, he passed away just 17 days later at his home in Buckinghamshire on the morning of July 22, 2025.
