Keanu Reeves’ Watches Worth $125K Stolen in 2023 Recovered

Keanu Reeves will soon reclaim a collection of luxury watches valued at $125,000 that were stolen from his Hollywood Hills home in 2023. Chilean authorities recently turned over the watches, discovered during police raids in Santiago, to the FBI. The FBI will return the recovered watches to the actor.

Keanu Reeves’ stolen watches recovered and handed over to FBI

Keanu Reeves’ collection of luxury watches has been recovered and returned by Chilean authorities.

Chilean authorities officially handed over the watches, valued at $125,000 and stolen from his Los Angeles residence, to the FBI on July 29, 2025. According to Chile’s robbery investigation unit, the FBI will now facilitate the return of the items to the actor. They had gone missing during a December 2023 burglary at Reeves’ home in the Hollywood Hills, which was part of a larger wave of high-profile break-ins in the area. Among the stolen items was a Rolex worth at least $9,500. (via AP News)

Officials found the watches during a coordinated operation involving multiple police raids in Santiago. Authorities uncovered a variety of stolen property during the raids, including designer handbags, iPhones, cars, and several luxury watches. Reeves later confirmed that authorities had recovered the same watches stolen from his residence.

In April, Chilean law enforcement announced the arrest of 23 individuals tied to this crime wave. Authorities have not confirmed a direct link between those suspects and the Reeves burglary. The FBI assisted in the recovery operation, and Chilean police have since arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the theft. The value of the watches was verified by Marcelo Varas, head of Chile’s robbery investigation unit.

News of the recovery was released as U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem arrived in Chile for talks with regional authorities. Her visit focused on efforts to address issues related to cross-border criminal networks and transnational theft operations.
