The Indiana Jones icon recently sat down for an interview. In it, he described his work in Apple TV Plus’ Shrinking and recalled key events in his acting career. During the discussion, the 83-year-old actor recounted a specific incident during Blade Runner 2049’s filming, when he accidentally punched co-star Ryan Gosling.

“We were rehearsing a fight, and we got too close and I hit him,” Ford told Variety. “What more could I do? Can’t take back a punch. Just take it.”

The Star Wars actor then jokingly complimented Gosling, calling The Fall Guy star “a very handsome man.” “He’s still very handsome,” Ford added.

Harrison Ford had previously addressed the accidental punch in an appearance on The Graham Norton Show alongside Gosling. During the appearance, Norton said that the former was not supposed to punch the latter. To this, Ford humorously responded, “Oh…I misread the script,” adding that the La La Land actor “stepped on his foot.” Gosling, meanwhile, described Ford’s punch as “a different animal altogether.”

Norton later shared a picture of the moment, where Ford could be seen with what seemed to be a worried facial expression. The former asked the latter if the expression signified regret or “I really hurt my hand.” Ford jokingly replied, “That’s the face of ‘Oh s—t I’m in deep doodoo.'”

Harrison Ford recently earned his first-ever Emmy nomination. He received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance as Dr. Paul Rhodes in Shrinking. He delivered a heartfelt message to the cast and crew of the series upon Season 3’s wrap, shared by Apple TV Plus’ official Instagram.
