Following Katy Perry’s breakup with Orlando Bloom, the latter’s ex, Miranda Kerr, has extended her support for the pop star. Sharing highlights from her summer on Instagram, the model included a video from one of Perry’s concerts. Her post arrives just weeks after Perry and Bloom confirmed they had ended their engagement.
Here’s how Miranda Kerr supported Katy Perry after Orlando Bloom split
Miranda Kerr has shown her public support for Katy Perry amid the singer’s recent breakup with Orlando Bloom, Kerr’s former husband. She attended one of Perry’s Lifetimes tour concerts and also shared a video from the event.
In an Instagram post captioned “summer so far,” the supermodel gave followers a glimpse into her recent experiences, which included attending the show in Los Angeles with fellow model Amélie Tremblay. Among the highlights was a clip of Perry performing “California Gurls,” during which she appeared to smile and gesture toward Kerr in the audience. This show of support comes shortly after Perry and Bloom had ended their engagement. Her Instagram update also included snapshots from Paris and photos of her baking with Flynn.
Kerr, who shares 14-year-old son Flynn with Bloom, is now married to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel. She has long been vocal about the harmonious relationship she shares with both Bloom and Perry. Back in 2022, she told Vogue Australia that successful co-parenting had always been a top priority.
“Co-parenting with Orlando and Katy is something that I feel really happy about. From day one when Orlando and I decided to separate, I said, ‘Listen, whatever we do, we have to put Flynn’s needs first, not our own.’” Kerr said. She added that she and Bloom remained close friends post-divorce and had always wished each other the best.
Perry and Bloom, who had been together for nearly ten years and share a daughter named Daisy Dove, confirmed their breakup in a joint statement released on July 4. Despite parting ways romantically, the two remain committed to raising their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, in a positive.
