Curious about the sudden online buzz surrounding the “Brad Pitt wig“? The Hollywood superstar has once again stepped into the shoes of Cliff Booth. His first look from the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sequel has stirred quite the reaction. This is due to a noticeable hairpiece.
So, here’s why “Brad Pitt Wig” is trending as he reprises his character.
Here’s why ‘Brad Pitt Wig’ is trending
Brad Pitt, known for his effortlessly cool persona, was recently spotted on set in Los Angeles, and fans almost didn’t recognize him.
The actor, who recently flaunted a buzz cut during promotional events for his film F1, returned with longer, tousled blonde hair. This time, he was donning a wig for the upcoming sequel.
Reprising his Oscar-winning role as Cliff Booth, Brad Pitt was seen wearing Booth’s signature attire: a yellow Hawaiian shirt, classic blue jeans, and a signature toothpick in his mouth. But it wasn’t the outfit that caught fans off guard; it was the wig. Unlike the natural hair he sported in the original film, this time his character’s locks appeared longer and slightly more disheveled.
While many fans expressed excitement, with comments like “Awesome!” and “Can’t wait…,” others criticized his look. One user stated, “They need to fix his hair…,” while another remarked, “They used his real hair in the first movie, and this looks like a not-so-great wig.”
The new film, titled The Adventures of Cliff Booth, features acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher directing it. Quentin Tarantino, who first introduced Booth in the 2019 hit, wrote the film. The sequel might explore Booth’s backstory further. It will build on both the original film and Tarantino’s novel Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: A Novel.
This project emerged after Tarantino reportedly shelved The Movie Critic, a 1970s-set screenplay that would have featured Booth again. Tarantino has since stated he doesn’t plan to direct another film until his children are older.
For now, The Adventures of Cliff Booth remains in development, and no release date has been confirmed.
