Why Is ‘Pete Davidson Teeth’ Trending? Explained

The phrase “Pete Davidson Teeth” has started trending online after the actor’s recent appearance on First We Feast’s Hot Ones with Sean Evans. Davidson had returned to the show following his last appearance five years ago. The 31-year-old star recently appeared in the horror mystery The Home, helmed by James DeMonaco. He is now gearing up for the release of Eddie Murphy’s The Pickup, which is releasing soon.

Pete Davidson recently made his second appearance on First We Feast’s Hot Ones and discussed a number of topics, such as his early days at Saturday Night Live and an embarrassing incident involving a big tattoo cover-up.

During this discussion, Evans asked Davidson if Seth Meyers gave him any unique advice during his time at SNL. To this, he imitated Meyers’ voice and revealed Meyers’ casual advice about getting new teeth. He said, “You should get new teeth. He was like, ‘Amy did it and she looks great.'”

Pete Davidson’s teeth — which have experienced significant changes over the years — have become both an important topic of speculation and discussion among fans.

In 2018, Davidson shared on a now-deleted Instagram post that his wisdom teeth were out and announced the release of Ariana Grande’s “God is a Woman.” (via Billboard)

Four years later, in 2022, Davidson’s teeth once again drew attention. This was after fans noticed he had a chipped tooth in a video shared by John Mulaney in which Davidson could be seen cuddling Mulaney’s son Malcolm. Fans immediately began speculating over how Davidson had damaged his tooth. However, an insider told E! News that the actor’s chipped tooth was “fake” and he wore it for a project.

Later that year, TikTok user The London Dentist explained the changes to Davidson’s teeth. He shared that Davidson started with straight teeth, speculating that he wore braces when he was younger. However, a gap formed between the teeth — which the user attributed to the actor not wearing a retainer or having a low frenum — which caused spaces to open up, also sharing that the teeth became uneven due to wear and tear. They concluded that Davidson got veneers to rectify the problem.
