New Coldplay Kiss Cam Focuses on a Super-Famous Couple

The Kiss Cam at the concerts of the British rock band Coldplay continues to surprise fans. It has recently captured footage of one of the greatest soccer players of all time. This comes after Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company’s HR chief, Kristin Cabot, were caught together on camera at a previous Coldplay concert earlier this month.

Soccer megastar Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, were spotted at the Coldplay concert at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on Sunday, July 27. Notably, the concert is the final U.S. event of the band’s Music of the Spheres World Tour.

The couple posted a joint update on their Instagram handles about the experience. They captioned the post with “Coldplay” and shared several photos from the evening. One photo featured their three sons, who were also in attendance.

Chris Martin, the vocalist and frontman of Coldplay, hummed at the pair, “Well, Lio, my beautiful brother, you and your wife are looking so fine. Thanks for coming today to see our band play, the No. 1 sportsperson of all time.” (via Billboard)

Fans who were present at the concert began chanting Messi’s name after realizing that he was there.

The Kiss Cam at the Coldplay concert has suddenly become a subject of controversy after capturing Byron and Cabot embracing each other at the July 16 concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Notably, Byron and Cabot are married to different people. Both have also since left Astronomer.

Meanwhile, Messi and Roccuzzo have known each other since they were children, though they began their relationship in 2008. The pair tied the wedding knot in their hometown of Rosario in 2017. Their eldest, Thiago, was born in 2012. Messi and Roccuzzo welcomed their second son, Mateo, in 2015, and their youngest, Ciro, in 2018.
