Recently, Zendaya and Anya Taylor-Joy were spotted exploring the city of Budapest. The photos posted online generated instant excitement as they alluded to the shooting of Dune 3. As per reports, the film’s shooting has commenced at Budapest’s Origo Film Studios. Meanwhile, Timothée Chalamet was also seen in the city recently, which further establishes that Dune’s latest installment has indeed entered production.

Fans were very excited to see the two actresses in Budapest together recently. Not only do the two boast huge fan bases, but they are also working on the third installment of Dune together. After the tremendous success of the first two movies, Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three is among the most anticipated movies releasing in the coming years.
Hence, spotting Zendaya and Anya Taylor-Joy has ignited curiosity across the internet. As per a post on Reddit, the two explored the Hungarian capital and were also seen taking some photos with fans.
Anya Taylor-Joy will take on the role of Alia Atreides in the upcoming movie. Dune: Part Two teased her character, but she did not appear on screen yet. On the other hand, Zendaya will reprise her familiar role as Chani in the third Dune outing. Furthermore, most of the rest of the cast is also expected to return.
Despite initial doubts about another movie, Dune 3 has moved forward. Moreover, with the actors already in Budapest, where the first two movies were also shot, it is now clear that the movie is moving forward, and moving forward fast.
However, ComingSoon previously reported that the movie will not be titled Dune Messiah after Frank Herbert’s follow-up novel. Instead, it will be called Dune: Part Three, conforming to the established pattern in Denis Villeneuve’s cinematic adaptations.
Dune: Part Three is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026.
