Fans Think Tyler, The Creator Has Unfollowed Frank Ocean on Instagram

Tyler, The Creator and Frank Ocean have worked together and been friends for over a decade. However, their recent social media activity has garnered significant attention. Fans were quick to react after a viral Reddit post revealed that Tyler appears to have unfollowed Ocean on Instagram, prompting a wave of speculation.

Here’s why fans think Tyler, The Creator unfollowed Frank Ocean

Speculation is growing online following claims that Tyler, The Creator has unfollowed Frank Ocean on Instagram. The buzz began after a Reddit thread went viral, featuring a screenshot that revealed Tyler’s Instagram account (@feliciathegoat) no longer appears to be following Frank Ocean’s handle (@blonded).

The caption of the post read, “THE WORST DAY IN HISTORY FOR THE UNEMPLOYED: Tyler, The Creator unfollowed Frank Ocean,” sparking widespread discussion. The move has left fans questioning the reason behind the change.

At the time of writing, Tyler has not offered any comment or clarification on why he may have unfollowed Ocean. However, it appears that Ocean is still following Tyler.

Fans continue to speculate on the reason behind this new development. One user wrote in the thread, “Maybe they’re just not friends anymore, time passed. They don’t seem as close as they were in the last decade. It’s sad, but that’s life.” Meanwhile, another commented, “I think this was his way of telling his fans to stop hoping for a Frank Ocean feature every album.”

Previously, fans were left disappointed after realizing that Ocean did not appear on Tyler’s October 2024 album Chromakopia. Many had speculated that Ocean might make a surprise appearance, especially given his close personal and creative bond with Tyler. However, once the album dropped, Ocean’s name was notably missing from the 14-song tracklist. One song, which many believed included Ocean’s vocals, was later confirmed to feature Daniel Caesar instead.
