Elton John took to Instagram to honor his late friend Ozzy Osbourne. “A dear friend and a huge trailblazer who secured his place in the pantheon of rock gods – a true legend,” John wrote. He also remembered Osbourne’s humor, calling him “one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.” The Rocket Man singer ended his tribute with heartfelt condolences to Sharon Osbourne and the entire Osbourne family.

Meanwhile, Jason Momoa, who hosted Osbourne’s final “Back to the Beginning” concert in early July, expressed his grief simply and sincerely. “Love you @ozzyosbourne. All my aloha @sharonosbourne and ohana. So grateful. RIP,” the Aquaman star wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo from the event.

Furthermore, Ozzy Osbourne’s bandmates from Black Sabbath, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, shared deeply personal reflections, talking about the brotherhood that defined their decades together. Guitarist Tony Iommi said, “I just can’t believe it… It’s such heart-breaking news that I can’t really find the words.”

He added, “There won’t ever be another like him. Bassist Geezer Butler reminisced about their final reunion earlier this month, saying, “Four kids from Aston–who’d have thought, eh? So glad we got to do it one last time.”

All in all, Ozzy Osbourne left behind an unmatched legacy – both as a heavy metal pioneer and a cultural icon.
