At the premiere of The Fantastic Four: First Steps in Los Angeles on July 21, Pedro Pascal’s sister, Lux, a trans woman, was asked about what her brother’s advocacy, particularly for the trans community, meant to her. She spoke candidly about the unwavering support she receives from her brother, telling Entertainment Tonight, “Well, I think that people like him are exactly the ones that need to be voicing support. It’s people with the positions of power that should be defending the people that are marginalized.” She added, “And he knows that, and he’s incredible. And all of it, like it’s not even about me or about someone specific. He does it from his own heart.”
Pedro was also quick to express his own admiration in return, calling his sister “a star.” Talking about the strong bond that they share, the actor added, “We go hard for each other.”
Previously, in April, Lux Pascal offered a candid reflection on how her brother supported her during her transition. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, she shared, “What makes [Pedro Pascal] so fabulous is that he wears all of his humanity on his sleeve, and he doesn’t hide who he is.”
She further explained that this taught her a valuable lesson, adding, “That’s the main lesson I’ve gotten from him: there’s no reason for me to hide who I am, right? And I think people are seeing that.”
