Although Paltrow avoided addressing the topic publicly, the biography claims she confided in friends about her personal reaction. Odell writes that Paltrow “felt sad” upon hearing about Pitt’s marriage and reportedly said that he “has terrible taste in women.”
The biography goes even further, quoting a private conversation Paltrow allegedly had with Aerin Lauder of Estée Lauder, where she didn’t hold back. According to someone familiar with the meeting, the actress bluntly said of Pitt, “He’s dumber than a sack of s**t.”
