Amber Heard recently expressed her appreciation for fan support ahead of her show Spirit of the People at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts on Instagram. This play, in which Heard plays Genevieve, was directed by Jeremy O. Harris. The production co-stars Ato Blankson-Wood, Zachary Booth, and Brandon Flynn, among others. This marks the actress’s first acting project since she welcomed twin children — a daughter named Agnes and a son named Ocean — two months ago.

The Aquaman star took to Instagram Stories to share a video, where she appeared visibly delighted and touched. In the video, she thanked fans for sending her flowers and supportive messages ahead of her performance in Spirit of the People. She added that she felt like “the luckiest woman in the world.”
Heard continued, “This is a great way to go into the play. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for everyone who helped contribute to this.”
“It has really made my day. Thank you so much,” she concluded, lightly screaming in excitement.
She echoed her sentiments in the story’s caption. It read, “I’m so grateful to my beautiful fans who contributed to such an amazing show of support. I’m humbled by the hundreds of website messages and flowers.”
Fans reacted to The Rum Diary actress’s message in a positive manner. “It is genuinely so nice to see her looking and doing so well,” a fan commented on Reddit.
“After everything she’s been through. I’m really happy for her,” a fan added, referencing her complicated and highly publicized legal feud with ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Amber Heard offered glimpses of her participation in Spirit of the People in recent weeks via Instagram. On June 24, the 39-year-old shared a selfie with Jeremy O. Harris, where both looked visibly excited. “In my theatre era x,” she captioned the post.
Later, the London Fields star posted a behind-the-scenes photo of herself rehearsing for the play. “Work in progress,” she wrote in the captions. This post received several supportive comments from fans, who were glad to see she was doing well and offered best wishes.
Alongside other cast members of Spirit of the People, Heard participated in a photoshoot for Vogue Magazine.
