Dax Shepard celebrated Kristen Bell’s 2025 Emmy nomination by posting a cheeky snapshot on Instagram that quickly turned heads. The image showed Bell in a downward dog pose in their backyard wearing nothing but a pair of bright blue knee-high socks.
In a humorous caption, Shepard wrote, “People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen’s.” He further added, “This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!”
Bell also reacted to the Emmy news with her own social media post. She shared a pair of images capturing the moment she and the show’s creator, Erin Foster, learned about their nominations while working on an ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) session over Zoom for season two.
In one of the pictures, both women appear visibly shocked. Bell captioned the post, “finding out I was nominated for an Emmy – finding out @erinfoster was nominated for an Emmy!!!!” Shepard chimed in under her post with a comment that read, “May you only listen to ‘Strut’ by Steven Seagal all day long. You’ve earned it!!!!”
The series Nobody Wants This also earned a nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series, earning Foster a nomination as a producer. Meanwhile, their co-star Adam Brody was nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series. This was for his performance as Rabbi Noah Roklov.
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have been together since 2007, tying the knot in 2013. They share two daughters, Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9.
