Fans react to Lady Gaga’s merchandise release

Lady Gaga recently unveiled the Mayhem Ball-inspired merchandise on her official website. The merch includes t-shirts, cutoffs, cropped tanks, shorts, sweatpants, jerseys, hoodies, bandanas, beanies, caps, totes, and two posters.

Unfortunately, one of the posters, the Opera Haus Poster, grabbed the attention of fans after they noticed AI-generated artwork on it. This prompted many of them to air criticism against the Poker Face icon‘s posters online.

“See that’s why you shouldn’t worship celebrity’s lol all they care about is your money,” one fan wrote on a Reddit thread.

Another fan went on a vitriolic rant, accusing marketing and merchandise teams of thinking consumers would be “stupid enough” to think the poster was “genuine art.”

“This stuff actually pisses me off. These teams make SO MUCH MONEY, and you can’t even put some damn effort into the art?” the fan added. “For 26 f―ing dollars?? What a beautiful f—k you to fans.”

“I’m so disappointed to learn this. I expected better from Lady Gaga,” a fan commented.

The aforementioned Opera Haus Poster, along with the MAYHEM Ball poster, costs $25 on the website.

Meanwhile, the t-shirt, cutoffs, and cropped tank top cost $50 each. The Lace Gaga short, Vanish sweatpant, Princess Die jerseys, and hoodies cost either $100 or $125, making them the most expensive merch on the site.

Moreover, the bandanas cost $40 each, while the beanies, caps, and tote bags are priced at $50 each. The Dancin’ Fan, which features the words “Dancin’ Until I’m Dead,” costs $35.

Furthermore, a tarot-inspired minigame can be played by fans on the website. This minigame directs fans to a random merchandise item.
