George Kittle Comments on Taylor Swift’s Nashville Performance

NFL star George Kittle praised Taylor Swift‘s surprise Nashville performance that electrified social media this week. The pop superstar took the stage at Brooklyn Bowl’s sold-out Tight Ends and Friends benefit concert. The event was part of Tight End University’s annual summer training camp.

Here’s what George Kittle said about Taylor Swift’s Nashville performance

San Francisco 49ers player George Kittle is smitten with the “Cruel Summer” crooner’s Nashville stage performance. Taylor Swift performed “Shake It Off” for approximately 1,000 attendees, creating what Kittle called “the loudest 1,000 people I’ve ever heard.”

The 49ers’ tight end further described Swift’s enthusiastic participation in the charity event supporting various causes. Kittle told Fox News, “She was fantastic.” He added, “It was an incredible experience. I think everybody had a lot of fun just watching that one live.”

Kittle, one of the co-founders of Tight End University, along with Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen, also gushed over Swift’s kindness. The six-time Pro Bowler said, “Taylor could not have been kinder, more nice, and she was like, ‘I think it might be fun to go sing ‘Shake It Off.’ And we were like, ‘It’d be amazing. Twist my arm, Taylor, please.'”

Meanwhile, the 2025 edition of Tight End University’s summer program also featured performances by Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Jordan Davis, and Chase Rice. Speaking of Combs’ performance, Kittle shared how he almost “bullied” the country singer into agreeing to the event.

Kittle joked, “Me, Greg, and my wife kind of bullied Luke into performing, like, ‘Oh, come on man. Taylor Swift said she might perform. You’re going to not perform?’ And so he went out and did a song with Jordan Davis, which was awesome.”

Following the concert, Kane Brown, who performed with Swift, also joked about the surprise stage performance on Instagram. The 31-year-old acclaimed singer shared a picture of himself with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, quipping, “When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not.”

Fans loved the unexpected on-stage collaboration. One follower commented, “We love you Kane!!! Thanks for letting our girl sing.” Another fan urged, “We need a Taylor & Kane collab.”
