In the game, the two exchanged hilarious and corny compliments with each other, laughing throughout the whole process. Releasing in July 2025, the upcoming DC Studios film will follow Corenswet’s titular character as he strives to maintain his humanity and good nature while coming up against an assortment of opponents eager to challenge his morals.
So, how did David Corenswet’s compliment game with Rachel Brosnahan go? Here’s how it played out.
Rachel Brosnahan says David Corenswet is ‘too pure’ for compliment game after he fails to get it
In a new promotional video from Superman’s official X (Twitter) page, David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan introduced themselves to viewers before starting the compliment game, where they had to read “silly” compliments from an iPad to each other. Corenswet noted that they weren’t supposed to laugh. This prompted Brosnahan to claim that she was a “giggler.”
Brosnahan kicked things off, telling Corenswet, “Your smile is so infectious it should come with a warning label.” He responded by asking if “infectious” things came with “warning labels,” leading The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star to say that they did if those things were as “infectious” as Corenswet’s smile.
Brosnahan chuckled at her own words and asked when their game became ASMR, after momentarily reading one of the compliments softly. Corenswet then told Brosnahan that she had a “really warm smile,” which he noted felt “very welcoming” every time they met. She responded that the Twisters actor’s compliment did not come from the iPad, which he confirmed, saying it came “out of the heart.”
The two actors continued exchanging silly compliments, laughing as they tried to understand what they were saying to each other. Corenswet eventually admitted that he did not understand the game.
