Responding to criticism on Instagram, the 42-year-old defended her partner’s maturity. “I’ve dated men exactly my age and Jade is FAR more mature than any of them,” the actress wrote. “We have more in common than anyone else I’ve ever dated and can literally talk about anything and everything.” Camp added, “Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I’m wishing everyone well. Especially this Pride month.”
The You star’s new comment has recived mixed responses from fans. One fan agreed with the actress’ take on maturity, saying, “I never understood the age argument. It’s about maturity. Enjoy!”

Camp and Whipkey started dating in early 2025. Later, the celebrity couple were photographed locking lips in Los Angeles in mid-May, (via Page Six). As per Whipkey’s social media profiles, she is a stylist and a creative professional working for the creative agency All Worthy People.
Whipkey has reportedly already worked for several celebrities including Keke Palmer, Destiny Rogers, and Coco Jones. As per Whipkey’s Instagram post, the 24-year-old has also worked as one of the art assists for Lena Waithe’s new podcast, Legacy Talk.
Along with sharing professional updates on Instagram, Whipkey is also vocal about her new-found romance with Anna Camp. In a recent post, the stylist shared a picture of her girlfriend, gushing, “You are the easiest person to celebrate and the sweetest to love.”
