Here is when Sabrina Carpenter’s new album ‘Man’s Best Friend’ is releasing

Sabrina Carpenter’s highly anticipated seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend, is scheduled to drop on August 29, 2025. The singer officially revealed the release date on June 11 through an Instagram post that instantly went viral. In the caption, she wrote, “My new album, ‘Man’s Best Friend’ is out on August 29, 2025. i can’t wait for it to be yours x. Pre-order now.”

Alongside the announcement, Carpenter also revealed the album’s cover art. In the first image, Carpenter is kneeling in a black outfit while a man outside the frame pulls her hair. She also posted a second image showing a close-up of a dog wearing a collar with the album’s title, Man’s Best Friend, engraved.

The reveal comes shortly after the release of the album’s lead single “Manchild,” which was co-written with Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen. The video follows Carpenter as she hitchhikes through a desert landscape, only to encounter a series of disappointing men.

Talking about the song, she wrote, “It sounds like the song embodiment of a loving eye roll, and it feels like a never-ending road trip in the summer. Hence why i wanted to give it to you now- so you can stick your head out the car window and scream it all summer long!”

On the personal front, Carpenter also recently parted ways with actor Barry Keoghan. Though she hasn’t confirmed whether the breakup influenced the album’s content, fans have already begun connecting the dots.
