The filing occurred after Wagner allegedly made multiple visits to the songstress’ home and claimed that she was the mother of his child. The restraining order filed by Swift will expire on June 30, 2025.
In a statement recorded on a legal filing, Swift alleged that Wagner made numerous statements about living at her home, being in a relationship with her, believing she was the mother of his son, and “needing to see [her] in person.” She stressed that Wagner’s statements were “untrue and disconnected from reality.” (via Page Six)
The legal filing reveals that Wagner first dropped by the Bad Blood singer’s home in 2024, and returned several times in July. Documents state that Wagner had been “carrying a glass bottle that could have been used as a weapon.”
The Lover singer alleged that Wagner came to her home in May 2025, claiming to be “checking on a friend.” Swift stated that Wagner’s claim was “entirely untrue.”
Moreover, the filings reveal that Swift’s team had discovered that Wagner was in prison. They also learned that he allegedly wrote letters to the “Enchanted” singer from prison. The letters described Wagner’s “infatuation” with Swift. It also described “a romantic relationship” with the singer that didn’t exist, and “other completely fabricated stories about his involvement in [her] personal life.”
Furthermore, the filings state that Wagner changed his driver’s license to that of Swift’s home address. It also mentioned how Wagner tried to send Swift’s mail to his home.
Wagner also allegedly sent threats to Swift’s team via e-mail. Swift stated that she did not know Mr. Wagner and had neither met nor communicated with him, adding that she had “a fear of imminent harm.”
