‘Taylor Swift Shaq’ Trends as NBA Legend Reveals Favorite Song

Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal, aka Shaq, has played his favorite Taylor Swift song in the New Heights podcast. The Basketball Hall of Famer recently joined Travis and Jason Kelce on their podcast, where the trio celebrated Taylor Swift regaining the ownership to her masters.

Shaquille O’Neal has revealed his “favorite song in the world” in Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights. Jason and Travis were excited to invite the NBA legend to their podcast. After joining the episode, Shaq surprised the NFL stars playing Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble.”

Fans loved how Shaq also mouthed the lyrics of the song. The 53-year-old Inside the NBA host described the track as his “favorite song in the world.” In response, Travis Kelce talked about Swift buying back her masters.

The beau of the Grammy-winner gushed, “Shout out to Tay Tay. Just got that song back, too. Just bought all her music back so it is finally hers too, man. I appreciate that, dog.” The Kelce brothers shared the joyful clip on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “We knew @SHAQ could jam, but not like that.”

Fans loved the impromptu jamming session of the trio over Taylor Swift’s discography. One fan commented under the post, “We can jam to Taylor on the podcast any time, any day (ANY VERSION).” Another echoed the sentiment, stating, “Shaq whipping out the phone for some Taylor Swift was excellent.”

Shaq previously met Taylor Swift at the 2024 Super Bowl. The basketball legend gushed over the interaction, revealing to PEOPLE, “She was very nice. I met her mom, and I met her dad also. I know what celebrities go through, so my meeting was very short.”

Shaquille O’Neal had also called T-Swizzle “a cultural icon” in another interview. Before meeting Swift, he’d shared his desire to bump into the celebrity once. He had told Page Six, “If I see Taylor Swift and get to shake her hand and take a picture, I’ll be good.”
