‘Taylor Swift Albums in Order of Release’ Trends as Fans Binge Discography

Taylor Swift has released numerous studio albums and songs over the years, which have not only helped cement her status as one of the music industry’s most successful musicians but have also garnered her a dedicated and widespread fanbase, known as Swifties. However, due to the sheer number of albums and singles she has churned out, fans may have lost track of the number of albums the 35-year-old singer has put out. As such, they wish to know the list of albums released by Swift, in order of release date.

So, how many albums has Taylor Swift dropped so far? Check out the list below.

Here are all of Taylor Swift’s studio albums in order of release date:

  • Taylor Swift (Debut album) – October 24, 2006
  • Fearless – November 11, 2008
  • Speak Now – October 25, 2010
  • Red – October 22, 2012
  • 1989 – October 27, 2014
  • Reputation – November 10, 2017
  • Lover – August 23, 2019
  • Folklore – July 24, 2020
  • Evermore – December 11, 2020
  • Midnights – October 21, 2022
  • The Tortured Poets Department – April 19, 2024

Other than the studio albums, Swift has also re-recorded and re-released four of her previously released albums under the name Taylor’s Version. The singer was prompted to re-release these albums after entering into a dispute with her former record label, Big Machine Records, and Scooter Braun, who had acquired the label later, over ownership of the masters of her first six studio albums. These masters were sold by Braun to private equity firm Shamrock Holdings in 2020. However, Swift bought the rights to her first six albums recently.
