Reports claimed that Marc Platt, the film’s producer, flew to New York to talk with Zegler. Platt’s son, Jonah Platt, also criticized Zegler’s “actions” that apparently “hurt the film’s box office” performances.
Jonah Platt stated on Instagram that Zegler “hijacked the conversation for her own immature desires.” He had also said, “Tens of thousands of people worked on that film,” who depend on its success. Hence, “Narcissism is not something to be coddled or encouraged.”
The ongoing criticism against Zegler prompted discussions about whether the rising actress’ career would be affected by such discourse. However, it looks like Zegler has already booked a few upcoming projects.
