The buzz among Taylor Swift fans are increasing thanks to the upcoming 2025 AMAs. Many believe the event will reveal details about Reputation (Taylor’s Version). Swifties have spotted what they believe are Easter eggs. The “intentional” clues point to either an announcement or surprise release of the re-recorded album during the awards ceremony.
Fans think Taylor Swift will release new album at AMAs 2025
Fans believe Taylor Swift has begun the official treasure hunt for Easter eggs before the 2025 AMAs, where she might likely announce something major. Longtime Swifties have found what appear to be substantial clues regarding the release of Reputation (Taylor’s Version).
Among the clues, the latest is definitely Swift’s surprise reveal of a full track from Reputation TV. The singer’s re-recorded version of “Look What You Made Me Do” was unveiled in The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 Episode 9. The date happens to be exactly six days before the AMAs 2025.
Keeping in mind that Reputation (2017) was originally Swift’s sixth album, fans started joining the dates. A Swiftie explained, “Reputation is the 6th album. This snippet is released 6 days before the AMAs. “Look What You Made Me Do” is track 6 and has 6 words. This series has 6 seasons and premiered in 2017, the same year when Taylor released Reputation. The 6 is sixing.”
On top of that, Swift’s official website currently displays four major tabs spelling AMAS: Apparel, Music, Accessories, and Sale. Followers of the Grammy-winning singer noted that the rearrangement of the tabs was intentional. The “Delicate” crooner is providing a major hint before her AMAs 2025 appearance in Las Vegas.
Additionally, the AMAs 2025 will take place on May 26, the date that marks 6 years, 6 months, and 6 days since the Reputation tour ended. Hence, an announcement regarding Reputation (Taylor’s Version) seems likely at the event.
Swift has also snagged six nominations in this year’s American Music Awards. She has earned nominations for album of the year, Favorite Pop Album, Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Collaboration of the Year, and Favorite Touring Artist.
Following the string theory of all the sixes, fans further speculate that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) could be released on June 6, 2025, which happens to be a Friday. However, at this point, it’s all speculation and there hasn’t been any confirmation.
