Scarlett Johansson does not mind “screaming” at the top of her voice to avoid a “kiss” from husband Colin Jost in SNL Finale’s latest promo. The comic clip reveals the actress’s straight avoidance of kissing her partner on camera even as Jost is hit by a dart.

Colin Jost was determined to pitch a sketch for SNL where his wife, Scarlett Johansson, “finally” kisses him. But the 42-year-old comedian is in for no luck, as his wife does not seem to like the idea.
In the SNL Finale’s latest promo, which airs on May 17, Johansson finds Jost at the shooting area while running away from something. Jost tells his wife, “Hey, babe, I had a sketch idea I wanted to pitch to you. Maybe it’s one where we, I don’t know, finally kiss?”
The hilarious clip depicts the Marvel actress’s terror at Jost’s idea of kissing. In response, Johansson screams “no.” Just in time for saving, Sarah Sherman lurks from the rafters above and targets Jost with a dart, shooting at his neck.
Johansson thanks Sarah and asks if the dart was a tranquilizer. The Mister America star reveals that she has “no idea,” adding, “(Michael) Che just handed this to me and said, “Take care of Jost.”” Followed by Sherman’s cameo, Jost asks for a kiss again that Johansson declines with a clear “nope.”
Fans loved the humorous rendition of Jost and Johansson’s playful chemistry as a couple. One user commented on YouTube, “Those were some natural performances from a loving couple.” Another quipped, “In an alternate universe she (Sherman) actually shot Scarlett instead, and Che comes from behind screaming, ‘I said take care of Jost, not host.'”
The finale episode of Saturday Night Live will feature a star-studded lineup on May 17. Johansson will be hosting the special night. Bad Bunny will appear as the musical guest of the night. Viewers can stream the show on Peacock.
