British stand-up comedian and radio host Russell Brand hailed Kanye West as “uncancelable” as he praised the rapper’s “Heil Hitler” music video. The 49-year-old artist posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Kanye West is uncancellable because he reached such a zenith in the culture that he couldn’t be killed.”

Speaking of the song “Heil Hitler,” the comedian gushed, “I think people would like it if he died. Why? Because he’s a problem for their agenda. Also, let’s be honest; the hook is catchy.” Social media users had mixed reactions to Brand’s comment, with most criticizing his support for Ye.

A user shared on X, “There are still people insisting that Kanye is playing 5D chess by releasing this song to expose the people who like it, and I need y’all to realize The College Dropout is not coming back.”

A second user echoed the sentiment, writing, “Nothing catchy at all about saying Heil Hitler over and over.” A third user summarized Ye’s recent activities and explained that the “majority of his fans” have “admonished” him.

The user opined that Ye’s peers have somewhat “ostracized” him. The comment further said, “His new music is banned from streaming. By any definition, people have canceled him. That doesn’t mean he can’t make noise.” Meanwhile, Ye’s song “Heil Hitler” makes some controversial claims, which have shocked many of his longtime followers.

In the song, Ye expresses his questionable opinions and slams Drake. He raps, “n***as be actin like f****ts so much, I think they might be Drake… they don’t understand the things I say on Twitter… all my n****s Nazis n***a Heil Hitler…”

The artist recently shared that he is facing pushback regarding performing the song. However, the Grammy winner revealed, I am doing Heil Hitler at all my shows.” Ye’s new album, WW3, includes more than one track that mentions Hitler. Another song that directly references Hitler by name is “Hitler Ye and Jesus.”
