Jason Isaacs Makes Fun of The White Lotus Cast Feud Rumors

Amid rumors of a feud among The White Lotus cast, Jason Isaacs and Walton Goggins recently gave their take. The two actors shared photos on social media, showing themselves reunited at an airport. Isaacs and Goggins also jokingly mocked the online theories about their alleged behind-the-scenes drama.

How Jason Isaacs and Walton Goggins mocked feud rumors

Jason Isaacs and Walton Goggins recently dismissed rumors of a feud between them after a viral Instagram exchange. The two actors, known for their roles as Timothy Ratliff and Rick Hatchett in The White Lotus Season 3, shared a warm reunion at an airport.

Isaacs posted two photos on Instagram, one showing them smiling with arms around each other and another where Isaacs kissed Goggins on the head. The caption read, “Hey, all you genius online sleuths — see any beef?!! #RicksAlive!!!” Goggins later reposted the image with a simple message, “Got to hug Timothy Ratliff yesterday.”

These posts came in response to ongoing speculation that there was behind-the-scenes tension on the set of The White Lotus. Isaacs had previously described the filming environment as “intense” and compared it to “an open prison camp.” In an interview with The Guardian, he said, “There are tensions and difficulties, I don’t know if they spilled from on-screen to off-screen, or if it would have happened anyway.” The actor added, “I can’t pretend I wasn’t involved in some off-screen drama.”

Goggins also opened up about the emotional challenges of portraying his character, Rick Hatchett, explaining how he often isolated himself to portray his character better. In an interview with Cultured, he said, “Someone I worked with on The White Lotus didn’t fully understand my process. My character — Rick Hatchett — he’s isolated. So during filming, I was isolated. I liked mirroring that, but it was emotionally difficult.”

Despite the intense working conditions, both Isaacs and Goggins made it clear that there was no ongoing feud.
