Anne Hathaway recently revealed that she is a certified Arsenal fan, as she chimed in to celebrate the club’s victory over Real Madrid. The Love & Other Drugs actress surprised soccer fans as she sang the team’s anthem in her recent video. As the video instantly went viral on the internet, fans joined in to share their thoughts.

Anne Hathaway went into celebration mode as she posted a clip of herself singing the anthem of Arsenal after they won the Champions League quarterfinal.

The actress wore the Arsenal jersey and smiled at the camera as she sang The Angel (North London Forever) by Louis Mark Dunford, which is a song dedicated to the esteemed football club.

She sang the chorus, the lyrics of which go, “North London forever, Whatever the weather, These streets are our own, And my heart will leave you never, My blood will forever, Run through the stone.”

Amid her singing, Hathaway paused as she received a notification. She then praised defensive midfielder Declan Rice, who had scored two free kicks for Arsenal. This led the football club to attain a 3–0 victory over Real Madrid.

Hathaway said, “The group chat’s going off. Declan is the man of the game, I agree, Mom.”
