A new report suggests that Kelly Clarkson is planning to exit her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, after 2025. The claims were made by a source after the singer was absent from hosting duties for nearly two weeks. However, the reason behind her absence from the show remains unknown to viewers.

According to a report by Page Six, Kelly Clarkson is on the verge of leaving her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, once her contract expires.
The claims were made by a source who suggested that the “Because of You” singer is probably taking this step because she wants to spend more time with her family. Additionally, they claimed that Clarkson would also be leaving NYC. The source stated, “Kelly’s number one priority is her children, and they always will be. The show is grueling. It’s a whole lot of work, and I hear that Kelly would like to spend more time down South.”
Clarkson shares two children, River Rose and Remington, with her former husband, Brandon Blackstock. The ex-couple finalized their divorce in March 2022.
Neither NBC nor Clarkson has released any official comment related to these claims.
The singer also commemorated 1,000 episodes of her talk show after returning to hosting. While expressing her gratitude toward the fans, Clarkson said, “I cannot believe today marks the 1,000th. It’s crazy. For 1,000 episodes, we have laughed together, we have cried together with beautiful stories, sang together with some people, danced together, celebrated and competed together.”
Clarkson also asserted that she “lost, alone, a lot” while being on the show; however, she didn’t provide any explanation behind the statement. Some fans believed that the comment might be related to the reason behind her two-week absence from the show.
