Chris Hemsworth Says He Can’t Be ‘Friends’ With Billie Eilish

Chris Hemsworth recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he talked about his equation with Billie Eilish. The Extraction star spoke about their recent interaction at the Oscars, where he took a picture with her.

Chris Hemsworth’s comment on Billie Eilish explained

Chris Hemsworth joked that he and Billie Eilish would “never be friends” during The Colbert Questionert, a segment where a celebrity has to answer a series of 15 questions from a questionnaire, which covers various topics like their interests and personal experiences.

When Colbert asked Hemsworth if he had asked someone for their autograph, the latter talked about getting a photograph with Billie Eilish at the Oscars. The Furiosa star was reluctant to take a picture with the pop star but then went ahead with it since he thought his kids are “gonna love it.”

He shared, “And then the moment I took it, I was like, ah I went from, work colleague, to now like a fan,” The actor jokingly added. “We will never be friends. Never be best friends.” Colbert then asked Hemsworth if he worked with the singer to which the latter replied in the negative. “You know, same industry kind of colleague. Bumping–bumping shoulders,” Hemsworth quipped.

“Sure,” Colbert responded. The talk-show host then likened Hemsworth’s claims of him and Eilish being “work colleagues” to the dynamic between himself and Hemsworth’s Thor co-star Anthony Hopkins.

At the Oscars, Billie Eilish had taken a photo with not just Hemsworth but also his wife and fellow actress Elsa Pataky. Interestingly, Hemsworth reportedly attended Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft concert in Sydney, Australia on the third night with his daughter, India Rose.

A TikToker had captured a video, seemingly showing the MCU star and his daughter standing near a wall, amongst the crowd. However, Hemsworth never confirmed his and his daughter’s attendance.
