Week 5 Start Or Sit
-
Ahmad Bradshaw RB - Indianapolis
It's very simple. It was announced just hours ago that Bradshaw is not only out at least for the next two weeks but is considering season ending surgery on his neck. Although he's been out since Sept. 22, you'd be surprised how many managers still have him in lineups. Don't be one of those guys.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis RB - Cincinnati
"Law Firm" has progessively lost more touches each week to rookie Giovani Bernard and only played 18 snaps last game while Bernard played 50. It doesn't help that Green-Ellis is battling the injury bug and it's obvious that Bernard is the better runner who is also involved in the passing game while Green-Ellis is not. I wouldn't only sit him, but if I could find anyone willing to buy, would trade Green-Ellis right away.
SIT
-
Daryl Richardson RB - St. Louis
One of my favorite sleepers going into the season, Richardson isn't even worth a flex play now that Rams head coach Jeff Fisher stated there will be a large committee carrying the running game by saying, "We'll probably play most, if not all of the running backs, if they're active." That means four backs will likely get carries for the Rams this weekend and thus a goose egg appears to be imminent for the once heralded young back.

Chicago Bears Defense
Sure, the Bears are a top 5 defense and rank so in just about every fantasy football league. However, there is another quarterback putting up video game numbers who is being overshadowed by Peyton Manning. His name is Drew Brees and he's going up against -- you guessed it -- Chicago this week. It's not freezing in Chicago yet, so you can't use the "only great in domes" argument. Brees tied his own NFL record last week with his ninth consecutive 300 yard passing game. It won't end with da' Bears. We all know how flukey defenses can be; go pickup a better matchup off the wire if you have to.

Philip Rivers QB - San Diego
Everyone keeps raving about how "Philip Rivers is back?!"... I'm not completely sold quite yet. However the veteran does face the lethargic Raiders pass defense this week, who rank third worst in the NFL. Tom Brady and Rivers are forecasted to score the same amount of points this week. With Brady facing a stout Cincinnati D, I would feel comfortable starting Rivers first.
