Australian psych rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have opened up the majority of the band’s discography to fans as a free download.
The Victorian seven-piece made the announcement via Facebook on Monday, offering free access to albums Oddments, Eyes Like The Sky, 12 Bar Bruise, the Willoughby’s Beach EP and last year’s Float Along- Fill Your Lungs.
“Hello internet. Because we are in the future, and I had some time on my hands, here is (pretty much) our entire discography for you to download for free. Share the love,” band member Stu posted on the official King Gizzard & The Lizzard Wizard Facebook page.
The Melbourne-based band were winners of the first ever Carlton Dry Global Music Grant in 2013, using the $50,000 in prize money to fund international exposure in the US and Canada.
The band also used their promo time to record two new albums, expected to drop late 2014 and early next year.
