Jonathan Bailey says Bridgerton Season 4 will take ‘everyone on a journey to new parts of the household’
Jonathan Bailey recently offered glimpse into what fans can expect from the Bridgerton Season 4.
Bailey told TIME that he has already seen the season’s opening episode. “I’ve seen the first episode, and it’s phenomenal. It’s really, really good.” The actor added that one particular sequence early in the episode will completely surprise the audience. He explained, “There’s one shot that happens quite early on in the episode that will blow the fans’ minds. It takes everyone on a journey to new parts of the household… It’s brilliant.”
Although careful not to reveal too much, Bailey admitted with a laugh, “Oh no, I’ve just said too much.” He further went on to praise his co-stars, commending Luke Thompson’s portrayal of Benedict Bridgerton and newcomer Yerin Ha, who joins the series as Sophie Baek.
Season 4 will adapt An Offer from a Gentleman, which follows Benedict’s unexpected romance with a mysterious Lady in Silver he encounters at his mother’s masquerade ball. Unknown to him, she is Sophie, a young woman working as servant for one of the families.
Bailey is set to reprise his role as Anthony, though details about his storyline remain under wraps. Fans caught only a brief glimpse of the character in Bridgerton’s Seasons of Love teaser released earlier this year.
Season 4 is scheduled to be released in two parts, with Part 1 premiering on January 29, 2026, and Part 2 following on February 26, 2026.
