Chad Powers Season 2 might happen ‘if folks dig it’
Glen Powell is open about the possibility of returning for a second season of Chad Powers. The actor, who co-created the Hulu series along with Michael Waldron, shared that he would gladly reprise his role if the opportunity arises.
In conversation with The Wrap, Powell noted that working on the series has been one of his most enjoyable experiences. He said, “I’ve never had such a good time making anything.” Reflecting on the show’s success and his collaboration with Waldron, the actor added, “When you get to collaborate with one of your best pals and make something that you love so much and that brings such joy to people … I just really feel so proud that we’ve done this first season and when you feel that way, you always make time.” He expressed that he feels motivated to return to a project that brings him “joy” and allows him to work alongside people he cares about.
Waldron added that the team would be open to developing another season. He said, “If folks dig it, we’ll make more.” As of now, Hulu has yet to confirm a renewal for a Season 2.
The show, which premiered on September 30, 2025, follows Powell as he portrays a promising college quarterback whose career unravels after a public downfall. To start over, he adopts a new identity, Chad Powers, using prosthetics and a wig to join a struggling football team under disguise.
