The Jonas Brothers have shared a behind-the-scenes look at Camp Rock 3. In a new video, Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas slipped back into their roles as Shane, Nate, and Jason Gray, respectively. They teased the long-awaited Disney Channel sequel while filming continues in Vancouver.

Joe Jonas, reprising his part as Shane Gray, posted a set video on September 17, 2025, where he walked through the camp in a leather jacket and sunglasses, quoting the fan-favorite line: “I’m Shane Gray, for crying out loud.”
He captioned the clip, “close enough, welcome back shane gray.” An additional video posted to the official Jonas Brothers account, captioned “good morning campers,” showed Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas lip syncing to the full scene.
The third film in the franchise is filming in Vancouver and features the Jonas Brothers returning as executive producers alongside Demi Lovato, who originally starred as Mitchie Torres. Disney announced that the movie will premiere on Disney Channel and stream on Disney+.
The official logline reveals that “Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing.” It further states, “As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances” (via Variety).
New characters in Camp Rock 3 include Sage (Liamani Segura), Desi (Hudson Stone), Rosie (Lumi Pollack), and Cliff (Casey Trotter). The film also adds Callie (Brooklynn Pitts), Madison (Ava Jean), and camp bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton). Maria Canals-Barrera returns as Connie Torres. Sherry Cola joins the cast as a new character named Lark.
The Jonas Brothers first appeared as Connect 3 in Camp Rock (2008). They returned in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010). Both movies remain in the top 10 most-watched Disney Channel original films of all time.
Veronica Rodriguez directs Camp Rock 3, Eydie Faye writes it, and Jamal Sims handles choreography. Disney Branded Television produces, with Tim Federle, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh serving as executive producers.
