Additionally, the actress has surpassed her former MCU co-stars, Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson, in terms of box office collection. Jurassic World Rebirth came out in theaters on July 2, 2025, and is receiving immense praise from fans.

The Black Widow star has cemented herself at the top of the box office as the biggest action star following the success of Jurassic World Rebirth.
According to a report by The Numbers, Scarlett Johansson’s total career box office collection now stands at $14.8 billion after the release of the movie. With this humongous sum, she has overthrown Samuel L. Jackson from his spot and claimed the number one spot. His current career gross amounts to $14.6 billion.
On the other hand, Robert Downey Jr.’s career box office collection is around $14.3 billion. Just like Johansson, Downey Jr. and Jackson have worked in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and been part of some high-earning movies like Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Civil War, and more.
Meanwhile, in terms of domestic box office collection, the Marriage Story actress places second with $5.4 billion. As per The Numbers, Jackson occupies the top spot with $5.8 billion.
In a recent report, Entertainment Weekly stated that Scarlett Johansson achieved this feat with just 36 movies, while Samuel L. Jackson did it with 71 and Robert Downey Jr. with 45 movies.
After its release, Jurassic World Rebirth went on to do amazing business in its opening weekend. It grossed around $91.5 million in the first three days. The film further made over $147.3 million at the domestic box office within five days. In the international market, this Gareth Edwards directorial earned over $174 million.
