Adria Arjona’s Bix could be back for more Star Wars projects after Andor

According to scooper Daniel Richtman, Lucasfilm reportedly has plans for Adria Arjona’s character Bix Caleen beyond Andor Season 2. No official announcements have confirmed it yet. However, speculation points to Bix appearing in future Star Wars movies or TV shows.

Andor Season 2 covers the final four years of Cassian Andor’s life. It ends with Bix raising his child on their home planet after Cassian’s death in Rogue One. The finale confirms their romantic relationship. It also reveals that Cassian died before meeting his child. Whether Bix learned of his heroic fate remains unclear, though she likely contacted the Rebellion.

Tony Gilroy, Andor showrunner, explained the series’ ending in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “It makes his sacrifice that much more bitter… and finally… I was desperate to end on a hopeful note. ‘Rebellions are built on hope’ isn’t just a T-shirt… it’s a legit flame that a lot of people need to see,” he said.

Adria Arjona has shared her thoughts on Bix’s ending, telling Elle, “She’s where she wants to be, and she’s hoping that Cassian is good and well, and that one day they’ll be reunited.” She added, “Maybe, hopefully, a writer one day approaches me… I have so much hope for [Bix and the baby]. They’re going to be fine, I hope.”

Arjona also confirmed she has not been told what happens to Bix post-Andor but remains open to reprising the role. “You have hopes, and you have dreams… She’s going to live in a better galaxy because Cassian is out there.”

With Lucasfilm focusing on the post-Rise of Skywalker era, Bix would now be significantly older and her child an adult.

Andor Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Disney+.
