A TikToker named “New Food Spotter UK” has reported that McDonald’s is adding the iconic breakfast item, McGriddle, to its UK menu on February 3, 2026. While there has been no official confirmation, the user has proven to be a good source of new releases in the past.
The McGriddle is an extremely popular breakfast option that has been available to customers in countries like the US, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Mexico, among a few others. While the dish is often served with a local twist, the core ingredients have remained the same across the world.
The sandwich features soft griddle cakes infused with maple syrup flavor as the buns instead of traditional bread. They typically include items like sausage, egg, and cheese or bacon, egg, and cheese. As per reports, the UK will have the classic McGriddle, which features a pancake-style bun with folded scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese.
