Prince Harry & Prince William Didn’t Make an Effort To Meet Amid Ongoing Rift, Source Claims

Prince Harry and Prince William’s reunion reportedly might not happen during the Duke of Sussex’s visit to the United Kingdom. He recently arrived in his home country to attend various charity events. Hence, people wondered if he would meet the royal family. According to a source, the brothers didn’t reunite despite Harry visiting Windsor Castle.

Prince Harry is scheduled to attend charity events, like the 2025 Wellchild Awards, during his U.K. trip. He last visited his home country in April, and this time, he arrived during his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II’s third death anniversary. According to Rob Shuter, King Charles quietly allowed his second son to enter Windsor Castle and pay respect to the former monarch’s grave.

“This was a highly personal gesture. The King wanted to make sure Harry had access,” a palace aide said. While the 40-year-old visited the King George VI Memorial Chapel, Prince William was reportedly just eight miles away. However, the much-awaited reunion between the siblings didn’t take place.

The Prince of Wales was seemingly busy with an event at the Women’s Institute. His wife, Kate Middleton, accompanied him as well. Allegedly, the heir to the throne didn’t make an effort to meet his younger brother. A source claimed, “The brothers are still oceans apart. Even grief can’t bridge that divide.”

Meanwhile, an earlier report stated that Prince Harry would also not be able to meet his father during his U.K. trip. King Charles has seemingly planned to spend this month in Balmoral, Scotland, alongside Queen Camilla.

According to royal expert Charles Rae, the 76-year-old has been “500 miles away.” Hence, a royal reunion might not be on the cards. “It is unlikely you would expect the King would fly down again to have a cup of tea with Harry,” he added.
