Ariana Grande’s Dramatic Polka Dot Dress Takes Over VMAs 2025 Red Carpet

Ariana Grande not only won big at the VMAs 2025, taking home three awards on Sunday, but also made a grand entrance as she looked stunning in a custom Fendi polka dot peplum dress. The singer returned to the red carpet after a long hiatus from the awards show, and with the fabulous dress, the star made sure to grab the spotlight.

On September 7, Ariana Grande brought her A-game to the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, by dressing in chic attire. She dazzled on the VMAs 2025 red carpet in a custom Fendi black-and-white polka dot dress. The outfit, which also featured a light pink peplum waist, was adorned with Swarovski jewels for the occasion. She completed her look with a matching black and white polka dot hair bow and black satin peep-toe heels.

According to PEOPLE, the songwriter’s evening attire was inspired by a similar Fendi dress worn by designer Silvia Venturini Fendi in the 1980s. The 32-year-old singer was styled by none other than Law Roach. The stylist, who walked the red carpet with Grande, praised the singer’s fashion look on Instagram. The post read, “And then THIS happened….. WE ARE BACK @arianagrande wearing custom @fendi @swarovski.”

The polka dress was not the only outfit that the actor wore throughout the night. While announcing Mariah Carey as the Video Vanguard Award recipient, Grande sparkled in a black sequinned Tamara Ralph V-neck gown. Moreover, she accepted her Best Pop Award for “Brighter Days Ahead” in a chic Steve O Smith gown.  She ended her fashion moment on a high note with a white tutu-inspired dress by Givenchy. She wore the white dress while accepting the Video of the Year award for “Brighter Days Ahead.”

Grande’s “Brighter Days Ahead” was one of the most nominated works at the VMAs 2025. It won in the Video of the Year, Best Long Form Video, and Best Pop Song categories. The musical science fiction short film also earned a spot in the Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects categories. Apart from these, “Brighter Days Ahead” also secured a nomination in the Best Direction category.
