Jason Kelce recently owned up to an embarrassing story that Taylor Swift witnessed in real time. In the latest segment of “Bussin’ with the Boys,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles center shared what he called “a very embarrassing story”. The event in question took place the night before — and it involved a beer blunder, as well as his sister-in-law to-be, Taylor Swift.

Before being asked the Bud Light question in “Bussin’ with the Boys”, Jason Kelce shared how Taylor Swift caught him drinking non-alcoholic beer (timestamp: 3:24:46). “I’m drinking beer, and I’m not really hammering ’em. I’m just kind of putting, you know, one back every 30 minutes or something,” he said on the podcast. Kelce then admitted, “I find out that I’ve been drinking non-alcoholic beer the entire game.” The realization hit him hard. “It was the most amount of shame I’ve ever felt in myself,” Kelce confessed.
The host asked who clued him in, and Kelce didn’t hesitate: “Taylor,” he said. “Because she said Travis had just been doing the same thing, and he’s ashamed. I’m like, ‘Time out, Travis; there’s non-alcoholic beer here!?’” As it turned out, “we had both been drinking these Budweiser Zeros, thinking they were just some like zero-calorie Budweiser.” Summing up the gaffe, he joked, “I just wasted three-quarters of my life.”
In the episode, Kelce also addressed why he looked emotional on the “New Heights” podcast with Swift and Travis Kelce. “It’s like you’re listening to somebody describe your brother,” he said on “Bussin’ with the Boys.” He went on, adding, “You’re hearing how, like, she fully understands why Travis is, like, an incredible human being, and, like, the ‘human exclamation point’ was, like, the best way I’ve ever heard Travis described in my life.”
Before narrating the embarrassing story, Jason said he hoped to be the best man when Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift tie the knot. “Trav has a lot of friends, I’m just hoping to get the opportunity,” he said.
