Prince William & Kate Middleton’s New Home Is Built for Threats That a ‘Neighbor’ Fails to See

Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are going above and beyond to turn their new abode into a safe haven by spending millions of dollars on home security. The royal couple, along with their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — will soon be moving to their new address, Forest Lodge, by the end of the year for a new start.

Prince William will soon be shifting to a new home, Forest Lodge, with Kate Middleton and their kids. Their new house, valued at $21 million, is located in Windsor Great Park estate. It is reportedly undergoing renovation to suit the royal family. But other than the interiors, the Prince and Princess of Wales are also making sure their humble abode is safe and secure from unforeseen danger as well.

Revealing the tight security details of the family’s new home, a royal insider told #ShuterScoop, “Forget quaint hedges,” their new property will have “infrared cameras, reinforced barriers, and permanent guard posts. This isn’t a house — it’s a fortress.” And it seems the details are hard to miss.

One neighbour told the outlet that the house has “high fences, surveillance systems.” With such arrangements, anyone can tell that the royal family is “building for threats we don’t even see.” Looking at the massive detailing by the royalties, even a former royal protection officer shared an opinion. The officer expressed that “the threat level for senior royals is real.” However, they added that this type of “overhaul is on a scale we rarely see outside embassies.”

Even one Windsor local joked about the impressive security details, saying the locals thought they “were getting new neighbors.” However, they were surprised to see “Fort Knox in the middle of the park.”

The new eight-bedroom home of the Prince and Princess of Wales also features six chimneys and nine bay windows. This house is much bigger than their current place, Adelaide Cottage. It has also been reported that the royal couple will be paying for the construction work and the rent themselves in order not to burden the taxpayers.
