Taylor Swift’s Tour Gets a Not-So-Promising Update From Sources

Rumors suggested Taylor Swift was planning a tour in 2027, but multiple insiders claimed a tour is currently not in the cards. Her upcoming release and 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” due October 3, ignited speculation about a new round of stadium dates. However, the pop singer is not planning a tour, and the biggest indication is her core dance team moving on to new projects.

Taylor Swift’s dancers are unavailable for a tour, says source

As excited as a new album release is for Taylor Swift fans, it may not lead to a tour soon. According to Rob Shuter’s exclusive report on Substack, her core dance team is unavailable — the biggest hint that Swift is not following the release of her album with a tour. Several “Eras” tour performers have accepted other long-term commitments, effectively taking themselves out of the running for any plan to hit the road in the near future.

One insider gave the example of Jan Ravnik, breakout favorite from the “Eras” tour. He reportedly just joined “Dancing With the Stars.” The insider told Shuter, “They would never take these jobs if there was even the slightest chance Taylor needed them.” Noting, “No one pays better than Taylor,” the insider added, “Her dancers earn more with her than anywhere else.” Given that the performers are not on standby, the insider suggested that a tour was not imminent.

Being on a tour is more than just scheduling. The insiders emphasized the physical toll of the “Eras” tour, which lasted nearly two years. Although it exceeded the billion-dollar mark worldwide, a source reported that “It was the hardest tour of their lives.” “Yes, it broke records, but it also broke their bodies. Jumping into another stadium run is impossible,” claimed the insider.

Hence, a source explained, “The dancers moving on is the clearest sign,” concluding, “Taylor is not planning a tour.” Another insider seemed confident that Swift “knows her fans will wait. This is a pause — not a farewell. But people need to hear the truth: there will be no tour this time.” For Swifties hoping to witness the Grammy-winner on stage, the message is clear: they might not see Swift on another tour anytime soon.
