King Charles might just be hoping for Prince Harry to return home, with an alleged special gesture that proves the palace doors are always open for him. Reports previously touched upon the father-son duo’s potential reunion in the near future, as their aides met to discuss possible arrangements last month. Recently, an expert shared more hopeful news, claiming that the monarch never closed the doors on Harry and is saving his and Meghan Markle’s former residence for when they return.
Expert says King Charles keeping Frogmore Cottage empty is a ‘silent invite’ for Prince Harry to come home
The Daily Express U.S. exclusively learned that King Charles has been saving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former home. Reputation expert Eric Schiffer claimed that the monarch keeping Frogmore Cottage empty is a “silent invite” to the couple to return to the United Kingdom.
The late Queen Elizabeth had reportedly gifted the estate to Harry and Markle as a wedding present. However, they no longer live there after stepping down from their roles as senior royals and moving across the pond.
In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their son, Prince Archie, moved to California. There, they welcomed their second child, Princess Lilibet, the following year, and have since established their lives in the United States.
The pair’s move caused an alleged rift and tensions in the royal family. However, things could soon change amidst talks of a possible reconciliation between Harry and the monarch.
Although there hasn’t been any confirmation about King Charles reuniting with Prince Harry, the gesture of his keeping the couple’s former home empty seemingly proved a lot. Schiffer claimed that he believes the Sussexes would return to Windsor as soon as the opportunity opens up for them.
Harry last met his father in person over a year ago after the announcement of the latter’s cancer diagnosis. Then, in May this year, he told the BBC about his desire to reconcile with the king.
