Here’s What Caused Prince William & Kate Middleton to Move Houses, According to Source

Prince William and Kate Middleton are all set to move to a new house in Windsor. Since 2022, the royal couple has been staying in Adelaide Cottage, and now, the family of five will relocate to Forest Lodge. According to a source, they have decided to live in a new home because they faced “difficult times” in the old one, referring to the Princess of Wales’ recent health complications.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s house address will soon change to Forest Lodge, Windsor. A royal source told the BBC that they have decided to move to experience a “fresh start and a new chapter.” Reportedly, the Adelaide Cottage in the castle grounds has given them some “difficult times.” Hence, the family is ready to leave those “unhappy memories behind.”

Furthermore, the Prince and Princess of Wales will seemingly continue residing in their new home even after they acquire the throne. While the old house was a four-bedroom property, the 300-year-old Forest Lodge consists of eight bedrooms. Before the Adelaide Cottage, they used to live in the Kensington Palace in London. In August 2022, the family moved to Windsor to seek privacy.

Earlier, a report claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s recent relocation had caused inconvenience to ordinary families. Sources claimed that a few tenants have been forced to “move out” of their properties. Reportedly, the royals didn’t want to become neighbors with “any Tom, Dick, or Harry.”

“I guess they were given somewhere else, but they were told they had to move,” an insider told Daily Mail. Apparently, the families didn’t expect such treatment from the royals. However, their houses were seemingly pretty close to the couple’s mansion. William will reportedly relocate by the end of this year with his wife and three kids — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
