It seems like BTS‘ V and Jungkook have been working out twice as hard since their return from their mandatory military service. Over the weekend, V shared a new post on Instagram, featuring throwback photos from his childhood as well as glimpses from his reunion with all BTS members as the septet prepares for their upcoming album. One of the clips captured Jungkook’s goofy appearance in his teammate’s gym video, with the duo flaunting their muscle gains.
Jungkook and V create a lighthearted moment in new gym video
BTS members V and Jungkook found a goofy moment for themselves amid intense preparation for the band’s new chapter. Since their return from mandatory military service and their subsequent reunion in June, the septet has been getting ready for their upcoming album in the U.S. They have also been keeping their loyal fans, also known as ARMY, in the loop with some fun updates. Among them was V, who recently took to Instagram to share memories from both his past and present.
Most of his Instagram photo carousel featured his childhood snaps. Towards the end, he included his fellow band members, including the youngest, Jungkook. The duo created a lighthearted moment in one of the videos from the update. The clip began with the “Winter Bear” singer recording himself in the gym when his teammate walked from behind. As soon as V realized it was Jungkook, he zoomed in to capture their shenanigans.
Upon recognizing that V had been recording a video, the maknae proceeded to flex his toned and muscular body, evoking a smile from his fellow BTS member. As Jungkook flaunted his biceps, V nodded, seemingly approving of their gym gains. The clip saw the “Hwarang” actor wearing a white sleeveless T-shirt and grey workout pants. Meanwhile, Jungkook opted for an all-black outfit, including a Nike jacket, matching shorts, and a beanie.
Other moments from V’s Instagram update featured all of the BTS members together at the beach. The septet’s selfie is from the band’s recent Weverse live, which they recorded with the crystal blue water and the majestic sunset in the background. In their first Weverse live after their reunion in June, the band announced that their upcoming album will be released in the Spring of 2026, which will be followed by a world tour as well.
